These terms apply when you book a ticket, class, workshop or private session with The Boobytrap Burlesque and Cabaret Ltd (“we”, “us”), and when you use this website. The Boobytrap Burlesque and Cabaret Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 16187790), registered office: 39 Lyndhurst Crescent, Edenthorpe, Doncaster, DN3 2PU.

Our shows

• Shows and festival events are for adults aged 18 or over unless the listing says otherwise. Please bring photo ID if asked.
• Burlesque and cabaret may include adult themes, costumes and partial nudity. Check the listing’s age guide and venue details before you book.
• Line-ups and running times are correct at the time of listing but may change. A change of performer is not grounds for a refund.

Tickets and payment

• A booking is confirmed when we or our booking provider send you a confirmation by email.
• The price shown is the price you pay. Any card or ticketing fees are shown before you pay.
• Tickets are non-transferable. Each ticket is for the person named when booking and cannot be passed on, resold or swapped for another person. If someone cannot come, contact us before the day and we will see what we can do.

Cancellations, changes and refunds

• If we cancel an event, we will offer a full refund of the ticket price or a transfer to a replacement date.
• If you cannot attend, tickets are not refundable unless the listing says so. Tickets for events on a specific date are exempt from the 14-day cancellation right under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.
• Classes: a class place is for one named person on one date. If you miss a class you have paid for, it is not refunded. If you tell us before the class, we will do our best to offer a place on another date, but we cannot promise one. Places cannot be passed to someone else.
• Booking several classes together: the lower price per class (for example when you book 4 or all 7 classes) applies to the classes you book together. If you later ask us to remove some of them, the standard price may apply to the classes you keep.
• If we cancel a class, we will offer a credit for another date or a refund for that class. Courses and runs cancelled by us are refunded in full for sessions not delivered.
• Workshops and parties: a deposit may be requested to hold the date. If we agree the date can change, the deposit moves with it.

Classes, workshops and your wellbeing

• Classes are open to adults of all genders, shapes and abilities. No experience is needed.
• When you book we ask for a next of kin and any medical conditions or injuries for each attendee. Please give accurate information and tell us before you start about anything new, including pregnancy, that might affect how you take part. Stop if something hurts: you take part at your own pace and risk, within the limits of our legal duties.
• Heels are optional. Wear clothing and footwear you can move in safely.

Behaviour

We want every event and class to be a welcoming, respectful place. We may refuse entry to or remove anyone who harasses, discriminates against or endangers other people, with no refund. Venue rules and licensing conditions also apply.

Photography and filming

Photographs and video may be taken at our events for use on our website and social media. If you would rather not appear, tell a member of the team at the event. Please ask performers before taking photos or recording them, and never use flash during acts.

Our responsibility

We are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our failing to use reasonable care and skill. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law does not allow us to limit. Your legal rights as a consumer are not affected.

Using this website

• The content on this website, including our photographs, logo and text, belongs to us or to the photographers and performers who allowed us to use it. Please do not copy or reuse it without permission.
• We try to keep the website accurate and available but cannot promise it will always be error-free or uninterrupted.
• Links to other websites are provided for convenience. We are not responsible for their content.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction, although if you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland you may bring a claim in your local courts.
